If you didn't do very well on the 2000-word level test, or on the 1000-word level test, you need to study the basics. These are basically the same as the blue words in the Longman Wordwise Dictionary. You can find a list here or here. Or just use your dictionary.
If you got good scores on the 1000-word and 2000-word levels, you need to move on to study academic words. Start here!
