Because we are writing essays and book reviews regularly, our blogs may not look like regular blogs. Let's work at doing more typical "blogging" type of writing. Today, there are 2 main things to do:
1. The first is "Juppun ha Juuubun" part 2. Please write a short post on your blog about anything, e.g.: what you did last night or at the weekend; a TV program you saw recently; the weather; your recent study; the World Cup; etc., etc.
Please finish this within 20 minutes of the start of the class. Doing this shows that you were present, not too late, and REALLY participating in the class.
2. The next thing is to introduce you to other classes blogging in Kumamoto. Please visit the WinK site I will show you, and visit some of the blogs. Find a couple of interesting ones and introduce yourself using comments or links.
To give you time to practice standard blogging things, the next essay topic is a very easy one: Write ONE paragraph of FIVE sentences about student life or about KGU or about universities in general. The deadline is as usual, i.e. June 5th at 6 pm. Because the essay is very short you should take care to write a well-formed paragraph. Use Orangoo spellchecking on your paragraph.
Of course, book reviews are a requirement as usual (every week by Monday 6 pm).
From now on, the first 20 minutes of every class are for a quick blog post about any small, casual topic you like. Anyone not posting within this time will be marked as late. If you are late, find time to post something before the end of the class, otherwise you will be marked as absent.
