I like the author Ursula Le Guin very much. She wrote the Earthsea series, called "Ged Senki" in Japanese. The movie of this series will come out in July. It's made in Japan and directed by a member of the Miyazaki family in Studio Ghibli.
The book I read recently was Worlds of Exile and Illusion. This is a collection of three novels, Rocannon's World, Planet of Exile, and City of Illusions. They are about a galactic empire that is breaking apart, and people are left alone. I recommend this author's work. It is often compared to Narnia and the Lord of the Rings. A good start would be the movie coming soon.
