What books have you been reading recently? As you may know, I like science fiction and fantasy.
In fantasy, when I was at primary school I read Tolkien's works (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion) and the Earthsea trilogy by Ursula Le Guin, but since then I haven't met with much success finding anything as good as these classics, although the Harry Potter series is pretty good. However, I've noticed a lot of recommendations for George R. R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series, so I bought Volume 1, A Game of Thrones. The first thing I noted was that the style was very good, which unfortunately is rather unusual for science fiction and fantasy. The content is also interesting, a kind of mix of historical fiction and fantasy.
